PTDF Scholarship Awards: The Petroleum Technology Development Fund,being one of the best-paid (400,000 NGN PLUS SCHOOL FEES) scholarship programs with FREE Laptop and mandated to develop indigenous human skills and oil technology to meet needs of the oil and gas industry, invites suitable candidates for the 2018/2019 edition of their scholarship, undergraduate, MSc PhD and Overseas Scholarships to specific programmes at selected Institutions in the United Kingdom.
The PTDF Scholarship Program for UK universities offers applicants the opportunity to benefit from a diverse pool of knowledge and facilities offered by world-class institutions in the UK.
Under this program, applicants are invited to register via the PTDF for specific programs of partner institutions in the UK (for the full list of funded courses, see below). The price includes the provision of airline tickets, the payment of health insurance, the payment of tuition and assistance costs (if any) as well as the payment of living and living expenses.
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve and streamline its programs, the Fund has reduced the number of UK partner universities to 15 leading universities. See the list below. is better served. Applications are limited to this selection, and successful applicants will receive scholarships for programs starting at the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

REQUIREMENTS CRITERIA/SELECTION PROCESS
PTDF scholarships are very competitive and only outstanding candidates are selected. A selection committee will be formed to evaluate the applications on the basis of the following criteria:
Academic merit, which is evidenced by the quality of diplomas, completed transcripts and other acquired professional qualifications
Relevant publications to which the candidate refers (only doctoral students)
Members of professional associations
The feasibility of the study/research plan.
Applicants must submit their case for their scholarship by submitting a statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) stating the reasons for carrying out the study, the relevance of the proposed study to the sector and the expected impact on development. national. Below is the summary for the three (3) categories of candidates:
1. Applicants must be full-time students of any federal university in Nigeria
2. Applicants must have completed the first year and currently in the second year of federal university.
3. Applicant must be studying oil related course
4. Applicants must have secured admission in 2017/2018 academic set
5. Applicants must have a minimum 5 credit in WAEC / SSCE / NECO including mathematics and English.
6.Applicants CGPA of 3.5 for 5.00 point scale or 3.0 for 4.0 scale.
7. Applicants must provide the first-year transcript.
1.A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) qualification in their first degree or second class lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
2. Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
3. Must be computer literate

4.Must submit: Topic, introduction, objective, methodology, and mode of data collection;

All lecturers must produce a letter from their Vice Chancellor confirming that they are not in receipt of any other scholarships.
