KTH Royal Institute Of Technology Tuition Fee Waiver Masters Programs For Non-EU Students: KTH Royal Institute of Technology, abbreviated KTH, is a public research university in Stockholm, Sweden. KTH conducts research and education within engineering and technology and is Sweden’s largest technical university. Currently, KTH consists of five schools with five campuses in and around Stockholm. Every year, a limited number of KTH Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence to students who are required to pay tuition fees and who have applied for a Master’s program at KTH as the first priority.

The scholarship program has a focus on sustainable development and how students can contribute to a more sustainable society. The KTH Scholarship covers the full tuition fee of a one or two year master’s program. Each year around 30 newly admitted students are awarded the scholarship.

Scholarship content

The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee at KTH for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory. The scholarship does not include living costs.

Available Subjects:

KTH offers 60 master’s programs taught in English. They present an opportunity for students with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to obtain a master’s degree of the highest international standard. 15 of the programs are jointly given in collaboration with other prominent universities. The programs start late August and last for two years unless otherwise specified.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply, you must be required to pay tuition fees and have applied for a Master’s program at KTH as your first priority. Students with conditional eligibility are eligible to apply for a scholarship. KTH Scholarships are not available for applicants to Erasmus Mundus and EIT master’s programs.

The scholarship is granted primarily on the basis of academic excellence and the nomination process will be undertaken in parallel with the selection process for admission to the program. Only applicants who fulfill the eligibility requirements of the program applied for will be considered for a scholarship.
